The 2010 scholarship season is now closed.
We're proud to support our community's students and their educational endeavors by offering numerous scholarships and grants. Our program includes financial aid opportunities for students of all ages who are at different points in their educational pursuits as well as a number of different areas of study. Check back in late December 2010 for the 2011 application. See below for a sample of scholarships available.
SCHOLARSHIPS OPEN TO CANTON APPLICANTS ONLY
Canton Business & Professional Women $500 2 available
Open only to women returning to the work place who need further training and who have already begun a course of study at any college or university and have completed at least 3 credit hours. Part-time students can apply.
Elizabeth Durack Memorial Scholarship $500 2 available
Open to all non-traditional students* who will be attending any college or university in Michigan.
Leadership Canton Alumni Association Scholarship $500 1 available
Open to all Youth Leadership Canton graduates.
Yazaki North America, Inc. Scholarship $2,000 2 available
Open to high school seniors accepted to a college or university in Michigan, in a technical or science-based curriculum. One male and one female student will be selected. This scholarship is renewable for four years by maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

Canton Community Foundation Scholarship $1000 1 available
Open to all non-traditional students* attending any college or university.
Canton Community Foundation Scholarship $1000 1 available
Open to all students attending any Michigan college or university.
Canton Community Foundation—Eastern Michigan University Grant $1000 2 available
Open to all students who attend or plan to attend EMU full time. EMU and the Canton Community Foundation are matching funds to make these grants possible
Canton Community Foundation—Penelope Hope Klei Scholarship $500 1 available
Open to all students with cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above who attend or plan to attend a Christian college or university full time with any major. Applicants must submit documentation of at least 50 hours of community service.
Canton Community Foundation—Schoolcraft College Foundation Grant $500 2 available
Open to all students who attend or plan to attend Schoolcraft full time. Schoolcraft College and the Canton Community Foundation are matching funds to make these grants possible.
Canton Community Foundation—University of Michigan-Dearborn Grant $500 1 available
Open to all students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above who attend or plan to attend U of M-Dearborn full time. University of Michigan-Dearborn and the Canton Community Foundation are matching funds to make these grants possible.
Jack Demmer Ford Scholarship $650 1 available
Open to all students attending any school with any major.
Denski Family Scholarship $500 1 available
Open to all current graduating senior cheerleaders from the Plymouth-Canton Community School District planning to attend any college or university full-time. Applicants must have 40 hours documented community service hours and a letter of recommendation from their coach.
Kiwanis Club of Plymouth Canton Breakfast Grant $1,000 1 available
Open to all graduating high school seniors with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above who have been accepted to a post-high school educational institution for full-time study.
PCEP Choir Boosters Darlene Symons Memorial Scholarship $500 1 available
Open to PCEP graduates from 2006 or earlier. Minimum of 2 years in PCEP choir program. Currently enrolled in college-level vocal music education or performance program. Letter of recommendation from college instructor.
Dustin Piepsney Scholarship Fund $750 1 available
Open to all current graduating senior wrestlers planning to attend any college or university full-time. Applicants must have a letter of recommendation from their coach.
Marvin Schulz Memorial Scholarship $300 1 available
Open to all students attending University of Michigan – Ann Arbor.
Dr. Syed Taj Family Scholarship $500 3 available
Open to graduating seniors from the Plymouth-Canton Community Schools. One awarded to a student from Canton, Plymouth, and Salem High School for any school and any major.
Meredith L. Whalen Memorial Scholarship $500 1 available
Open to all female students majoring in business attending any school or university.
