Canton Community Foundation

Plan now to join members of your community on Staurday, May 9th at PARC in Plymouth for the 5th Annual Greater Plymouth/Canton Service Project, benefitting Kids Coalition Against Hunger.  With the help of 1500 volunteers, we will package 250,000 meals in one day.  Meals will be distributed to the food insecure in our community, around the country and abroad.

Choose from two shifts:

8:00-10:30

11:00-1:30

This event is ideal for people of all ages - young, old ... and in between!

Details:

Who can volunteer?

Anyone 7 years old and older.  Families, school/church groups, scout troops, etc. are invited to join in this day ofservice to benefit our community.

How is a shift run?

When you arrive at PARC, you will enter from the rear of the facility.  A registration attendant will be there to guide you.  You will be guided from the sanitation station, to the training room, and then into the gym where you will be paired with others to create a team of 12 to run one line.  Each shift is

2 1/2 hours (30 minutes is training and sanitation).

Can’t volunteer but would like to donate?

We understand that people’s lives are busy and May 9th may not be a good day to volunteer, but your donation will help us in reaching our $70,000 goal.  The cost of one meal is .28¢.

Example:  Your $50 donation provides 178 meals.

A donation of any size will make a difference to the kids.
