CFCU gives to nonprofits in "Season of Giving"
The Canton Community Foundation is honored to be one of the nonprofit organizations chosen to receive a generous donation from the Community Financial Credit Union. President Joan Noricks was informed recently that the community foundation will receive a $5,000 gift. Other organizations that will receive contributions are the Plymouth Community Foundation and the Plymouth-Canton Schools Educational Excellence Foundation.
The two local foundations were awarded gifts because both use funds to support those in need in the communities, according to CFCU.
“Community Financial Credit Union and their members are generous supporters of our community and the Canton Community Foundation is pleased to partner with them in our work that connects community needs with the stewardship of gifted financial resources,” Noricks said.
CFCU will donate $50,000 during its "Season of Giving," Dec. 5-Dec. 23 to support nonprofit organizations in the area the credit union services.
