Magical Night with the Stars
Helping Hunger and Homelessness Disappear

A Magical Night with the Stars was held Sunday, February 22 at the Emagine Theatre in Canton.  Proceeds from the event will support two local charities which are helping to make hunger and homelessness in our community disappear, First Step and Gleaners Community Food Bank.

The community came together to celebrate the Academy Awards night and help raise funds to benefit local residents who are hurting.  Great fun was had by all!

Golf Outing

Mark your calendars for Thursday, June 4th and come join us at Pheasant Run Golf Club for the 19th annual golf outing.  Help local kids go to college by supporting our scholarship funds.  Click here for more information or to register.

 Foundation Achieves National Standards

Canton Community Foundation recently received notice that it is among those community foundations in compliance with the National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations administered by the Council on Foundations. National Standards represent the highest measure of accountability and transparency in philanthropy.

We are proud to have met such rigorous standards in donor services, investment management, grantmaking and administration. Near our Canton Community Foundation logo is the National Standards Seal. This is similar to the Good Housekeeping Seal for community foundations. It says that Canton Community Foundation has demonstrated its commitment to financial security, transparency and accountability.

Trusted philanthropic leader, fostering cooperative partnerships that connect community needs and the stewardship of gifted financial resources.
