Community Philanthropy Summit

Our first Community Philanthropy Summit was a great success with over 85 attendees.  Everyone enjoyed learning how to grow their organization and expand their influence.  Look for information on our next event scheduled on April 29, 2010.

When philanthropic organizations thrive, our communities flourish.  As a leader in your community, you have the opportunity and responsibility to inspire efforts that will leave a lasting impression.

 Foundation Achieves National Standards

Canton Community Foundation recently received notice that it is among those community foundations in compliance with the National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations administered by the Council on Foundations. National Standards represent the highest measure of accountability and transparency in philanthropy.

We are proud to have met such rigorous standards in donor services, investment management, grantmaking and administration. Near our Canton Community Foundation logo is the National Standards Seal. This is similar to the Good Housekeeping Seal for community foundations. It says that Canton Community Foundation has demonstrated its commitment to financial security, transparency and accountability.
