Veterans Educational Summit:
Navigating the Waters of VA Benefits
The Canton Community Foundation, with the support of the Holbrook Charitable Trust, is sponsoring a September 2010 program for veteran advocates, VSOs, county counselors, attorneys, veterans, family and friends. The Holbrook Trust funds legal training in Wayne County. The first day of the two-day event is geared for advocates and lawyers. The second day of the event, features topics aimed toward veterans, family and friends. Two main goals of this event are to build bridges among the different stakeholders involved in assisting veterans, and to educate all individuals regarding the various benefits available to veterans and their families.
This educational event will be held:
- September 21 & 22, 2010
- 8 a.m - 5 p.m.
- Laurel Manor Banquet and Conference Center, Livonia MI
